Container loading inspection is made after the production is finished and the product is ready for shipment.
Container loading inspections could be an important part of comprehensive quality assurance programs. Container loading control helps inspectors be sure that they will receive the products they ordered, reduce the risk of substitution of goods during loading and be sure that the supplier follows the delivery schedule.
During container loading control the inspector checks:
- The container condition, cleanliness, smell, deformation
- Opens several boxes to make sure the package has the required item
- Verifies markings and barcodes
- Recounts the quantity of goods and verifies the names
- Monitors loading at all times until the container is closed
- Records the container number, vehicle number and seal number
